Our system has a directory of international insurance compliance data from which we have the capability to run reports and present information to system users. 

We would like users/clients to be able to use a chatbot function to ask specific questions around compliance, and for accurate answers to be returned from the data in the compliance database. 

We believe there are a number of AI tools that can be utilised to assist with achieving this goal, and believe it would be an invaluable experience for an undergraduate to develop their knowledge and experience in the AI field.

 

Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will 

  • Manage the project to recreate a functioning chatbot. 
  • Research the relevant tools and resources available to recommend, and then implement, the selected technology. 
  • Devise a test plan and work with our testing team to validate the accuracy of the tool that has been developed.

Skills and experience
Technical Skills:

  • Object-orientated design knowledge for building efficient, logical and re-usable code 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of PHP 7+, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Database and SQL skills (MySQL, SQL Server etc)-
  • Knowledge of software development, insurance and data systems are appreciated but not essential. Here at iCede we will teach the candidate everything they need to know to navigate through our system, but a background in IT/software etc. will aid them in their adaptability.
