This is an exciting opportunity within Hypno Switch, a new wellbeing tech start-up based in Birkenhead. We are launching a hypnosis audio-track platform that makes personalised self-development and mental health support accessible and affordable. With the website due to go live in September and mobile apps launching shortly afterwards, we want to ensure our digital presence is strong from the outset. This internship will give you the chance to take ownership of digital marketing and data-led growth strategies, helping shape the future of a brand-new product in the wellness and mindset space.

Duties and responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Lead Intern will take responsibility for analysing and improving Hypno Switch’s online presence across web, search and social channels. 

Key duties will include: 
Analysing website performance and user behaviour (using Google Analytics and any additional recommended tools). 
Developing a data-driven digital marketing plan, with clear metrics and targets.
Conducting keyword research and SEO analysis (on-site and off-site) to improve search rankings.
Creating and scheduling social media content (using tools such as Metricool), with a focus on measurable results.
Researching and drafting blog content, incorporating targeted keywords.
Reviewing competitor strategies and identifying opportunities for brand growth.
Regularly reporting on campaign performance and making recommendations for improvement.
The focus is on evidence-based decision making – we are looking for someone who can interpret data and turn insights into impactful action, while working closely with our CEO

Skills and experience
We are looking for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working with data and has an interest in digital marketing within the wellbeing and tech sectors. 

 
Essential skills/attributes include:
Strong analytical skills and confidence in interpreting data (Google Analytics or similar).
Awareness of SEO and digital marketing principles.
Ability to create clear, concise written content (blogs, social posts).Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
 
Desirable:
Experience using scheduling/design tools (e.g. Canva, Metricool)
.An interest in wellbeing, psychology or digital health products.
Familiarity with keyword/SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) – training can be provided.
