Roberts Recycling is one of the UK’s leading textile recyclers and exporters, working with thousands of schools, charities, communities, and many of the world’s biggest fashion brands to divert unwanted clothing from landfill. We are a values-led business with a strong focus on social impact, sustainability, and community engagement.
The Marketing and Community Outreach Intern will support our marketing department in sharing stories of sustainability and social value, while also assisting with the delivery of educational and community projects. This role will give an LJMU student the opportunity to contribute to impactful campaigns that reach schools, charities, and partners across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.

The purpose of the internship is to provide hands-on experience in marketing and community engagement within a sustainability-focused business. Working alongside our Marketing Lead, the intern will support the development of communications and resources that highlight the environmental and social value of textile recycling.
- Assisting with content creation for social media, newsletters, and website updates.

- Engaging with schools, charities, and community partners to share opportunities and resources.
- Providing administrative support for project tracking and outreach activities.
This role offers the chance to gain practical marketing experience, develop professional communication skills, and contribute to projects that make a measurable social and environmental difference.
