As our Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for marketing The Accessible Guide on social media, creating content that will encourage users to interact. You’ll have a creative mindset, a keen eye for detail and a curious nature with a desire to constantly learn more. 

The role will include collaborating with businesses listed on The Accessible Guide to create some engaging and informative video content, we have collaborated with venues such as Nova Scotia, Novotel Paddington Village, Boxpark Liverpool and Gravity Max to create content showcasing the access features of the venues. 

You will have access to our business emails and our social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok. 

We are developing some unique new products and services that will support disabled people access goods and services, and support a more inclusive and welcoming society, all of which will require marketing on social media. 

Whilst the role is virtual, there will be weekly in-person meetings with our Managing Director, and travel to and from any businesses that we collaborate with will be required, we will only collaborate with businesses within Liverpool though.

Duties and responsibilities
You will work with the Managing Director to help create a marketing strategy, aligned with the objectives of the Company. Independently plan and deliver a marketing campaign to achieve objectives set. 

 
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media best practices, trends and technologies, that will allow the creation of content that is engaging and interactive and that will support the Company’s goals and objectives. 
 
You will be responsible for liaising with businesses and venues to arrange dates/times for the capture of any video content and to discuss any collaboration requirements.

Skills and experience
We are looking for an ambitious individual that is keen to invest in themselves, take on opportunities and evolve their skill sets. 

 

You should have: 

  • Good time keeping skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms and scheduling.
  • Creativity. 
  • Good customer service skills.
  • The ability to devise and drive content marketing strategies across a variety of platforms.
