Description

Role
Our client seeks a knowledgeable Retrofit Coordinator to guide retrofit projects through every stage, from planning to completion, in line with PAS 2035 requirements. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Retrofit Coordinator will uphold the highest standards of quality and responsibility.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Establish and agree intended project outcomes with clients and Resident Clients, reviewing and updating where necessary.
  • Carry out project risk assessments to determine PAS 2035 risk grades and compliance pathways.
  • Oversee Whole-Dwelling Assessments undertaken by qualified Retrofit Assessors.
  • Prepare Improvement Option Evaluations to identify the most suitable measures.
  • Develop Medium-Term Improvement Plans for dwellings and property archetypes.
  • Confirm immediate measures with clients and ensure alignment with overall plans.
  • Liaise with Retrofit Designers to provide information and ensure PAS 2035–compliant designs.
  • Supervise the design, specification, and installation of agreed measures
  • Oversee quality assurance processes including installation monitoring, testing, and project handover.
  • Ensure qualified advisors provide Resident Clients and landlords with tailored energy advice at three stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, provide feedback, and identify lessons learned.
  • Compile and submit evidence demonstrating PAS 2035 compliance.
  • Undertake advanced monitoring of other Retrofit Coordinators’ work where outcomes are not met or issues arise.

Skills and experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management, this is an essential requirement for PAS 2035 compliance.
  • Outstanding organisational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders and workers.
  • Experience acting as an advocate and technical advisor on projects.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments in the building sector.
