Role
Are you a current University College Birmingham student interested in creating social media content with a real “wow” factor that engages with our students, applicants and staff?If you’re already creating your own content or want to build your confidence in front of the camera, this is the job for you! In this job, you will receive mentoring from an expert videographer and trained journalist. 

Duties and responsibilities
- Create engaging digital content that can be shared across multiple social media platforms and the University website.

- Opportunity to cover events such as open days/Freshers' week/cultural events such as One World Day and high-profile Birmingham events such as Pride, which we will post on social media.
- Attend digital meetings to contribute ideas to the digital content calendar. Offer creative and original ideas that may highlight the best social media and digital activity to appeal to students.
- Be the face of University College Birmingham official's social media channels and confidently navigate online interaction with students.- Be a positive representation of University College Birmingham

Skills and experience
Previous experience in the following areas is preferred:

- Video production and basic editing
- Social media
- Creative writing to bring your storyboards/videos to life!
Desired experience but not essential
- Photography- Podcasting
