Duties and responsibilities
- Providing a welcoming and professional service to patients, addressing their needs with care and empathy.
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling queries efficiently.
- Organising tasks and prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
- Preparing meeting agendas and recording accurate minutes.
- Supporting change initiatives and improvements within the practice.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient care.
- Confidently using IT systems and adapting to new NHS technologies.
- Providing cover for team members during leave and attending training as needed.
Skills and experience
- Genuine interest in working in healthcare and supporting the public.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to new processes and challenges.
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
