At The Brain Charity, we work to support people with all forms of neurological conditions, as well as championing greater understanding of neurodiversity across communities and workplaces.
Our Communications, Fundraising, and Neurodiversity Training team plays a vital role in sharing our message, raising awareness, and generating the support needed to continue our life-changing work.
As an intern in this team, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on experience across a variety of areas — including helping shape our communications and social media presence, both generally as a charity and to support our newly launched online neurodiversity training portal.
We are also looking to make strategic changes to how we manage our stakeholders lists on our CRM. This role is a chance to develop key skills, work on meaningful projects, and be part of a passionate, supportive team dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.
Duties and responsibilities
Purpose of the Role
Communications & Marketing
- Support the creation of engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website.-Learn how to use Microsoft Dynamics 360 to manage key stakeholders lists and press contacts.
- Understand the importance of the Charity’s brand and values and integrate this in your copywriting and content generation.
Neurodiversity Training & Awareness
- Collaborating on a marketing plan to engage with potential clients for our neurodiversity training portal
General Team Support
- Participate in team meetings and learn about how a charity works.
- Undertake research projects to support strategic initiatives.
