The Culture Network LCR is a paid membership organisation for the Liverpool City Region (LCR), and welcomes cultural organisations, big and small, that are interested in working collaboratively to amplify each other and the regional impacts of arts and culture. 

The successful candidate will assist with the marketing and coordination of Culture Network LCR’s Uncoverliverpool.com project reporting directly to the Uncover Liverpool Marketing Officer. The role will focus on digital marketing and communications, plus some Culture Network event support if required at that time.

Duties and responsibilities
About the Interns role 

 
Culture Network LCR Arts Marketing Assistant Job description:
  • Help to deliver all elements of Culture Network LCR’s communications and marketing activity, including preparing and delivering weekly Uncover Liverpool bulletins, social media, PR, website updates, plus volunteer recruitment and advertising. 
  • Write engaging and insightful content, copy and features for online and printed collateral. 
  • Data analysis.
  • Liaising with artists and arts organisations as necessary.
  • Available to support the team to deliver events (if required and where possible).
  • Support the team with administration and day to day duties.

Skills and experience
Person specification: 

  • Excellent English writing skills
  • You have a real flare for writing engaging pieces for a variety of platforms
  • Experience in, or interested in writing for online websites, magazines, newspapers and social media
  • Experienced user of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TikTok
  • Experience & knowledge of Data Analysis, Google Analytics, Social Media - Demographics
  • Used to working to deadlines
  • Happy to work from Home with access to own computer and/or laptop
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word & Excel), Google Drive
  • Experience of WordPress & Mailchimp Professional/personal skills
  • You are creative, imaginative and curious about arts and culture in Liverpool and the city region
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and a fast learner
  • Excellent communication
  • Self-motivated
  • Super organised and take pride in your work with an attention to detail
