Description

Role
This role is to help with serving and preparing food and beverages for customers, and keeping the units clean and presentable. The role holder will be working as part of Campus Services. 

 
The shifts for this role will be offered on an ad hoc basis and will mostly be Monday-Friday during lunchtime hours, with the occasional weekend shift being offered. The shifts will be across all of the catering outlets on campus.
 
We are specifically looking for people who are available on Thursdays during lunchtime hours, as well as Mondays and/or Tuesdays.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Keep all work areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ensure health and safety advice is followed.
  • Communicate well with other members of the catering team.
  • Till operation including cash handling. 

Skills and experience

No minimum level of qualification or experience. Any specific experience with events (serving buffets, drinks receptions etc) will be a bonus. 

You will be asked to attain a Food Hygiene Certificate if you offered the role.

Additional information
Dress code: Black button up long-sleeved shirt, black trousers and black shoes, no jewerely.

 
The start date for this role is as soon as possible.
We are specifically looking for people who are available on Thursdays during lunchtime hours, as well as Mondays and/or Tuesdays.
