Role

This role will be taking place on a weekend - Saturday 20 September 2025.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • To attend a 1-hour paid training session during the week beginning (date/time TBC). To provide a high level of customer service to both undergraduate and postgraduate students attending International Student Day 2025.
  • To provide Campus Tours of the City St Georges Clerkenwell Campus for new students.
  • To answer questions and offer information, guidance, and support to international students.
  • To direct students to the different International Student Day activities and locations across campus.
  • To create a welcoming and inclusive environment that helps international students feel supported and part of the community.
  • To be willing to be flexible and provide support with other Ambassador duties as and when required.

Skills and experience

  • Experience as a Student Ambassador and/or delivering campus tours (preferable). 
  • Experience of being an international student (desirable).Confident and clear communicator, comfortable engaging with diverse groups.
  • Passionate about representing and supporting City St George’s University.
  • Good understanding of Student Ambassador responsibilities and expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of the University campus, key locations, and essential student services.
  • Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about welcoming international students.
