Role
Our Client, who are a leading education provider are looking for an area manager to join their team.

Depending on your experience, starting salary is between £24,000-£27,000.
You will be based out of Birmingham and will travel to franchises across the midlands and beyond. Therefore it is essential that you have a driving licence and your own transport.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be tasked with a variety of roles, dealing with franchises across your area, meaning that no two days are the same.

You will be in control of your diary and your day to day tasks will include.
  • Supporting instructors to allow them to succeed and providing feedback and input to them.
  • This will include mentoring, coaching and training.
  • Continually looking for ways to grow the business and using business development methods to identify possible areas of growth.
  • Creating an annual plan and developing this alongside the franchisees.
Training will be provided as part of the companies processes and this is a continual training programme.

Skills and experience

  • We are looking for someone who has previous Area Manager experience (Top end of the salary)
  • However for someone who is a graduate or has previously experience in other industries, there is the ability to fully immerse in the training programme provided and grow on the job.
  • You will have experience of working in a corporate environment and a real interest in education
  • You must have your own transport and be able to work flexible hours (time in leiu and expenses as required are offered
This is an ideal position to grow with in a business for someone with a passion for educaton and working with others to ensure the best level of service to all.
Due to the nature of this role, a full screening process including an enhanced DBS will be required as well as full references.
