Description
Role
The post holder will provide dedicated project support to the implementation of the University’s enhanced Wellbeing Strategy, specifically focused on delivering the “Start Well, Stay Well, Succeed Well” model. This will include coordinating activity across multiple stakeholders, ensuring timelines are met, embedding the student voice, and supporting engagement across the University community.
The role will suit someone highly organised, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex environment and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Duties and responsibilities
Project Support and Coordination
- Support the Director of Wellbeing and Safeguarding in planning, monitoring, and delivering agreed project activities within defined timelines.
- Track progress against key milestones and provide regular updates, highlighting risks and issues where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and reporting tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise and build effective working relationships with colleagues across academic departments, professional services, and student-facing teams.
- Work with external partners and sector contacts where appropriate to support project delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and engagement across the University community, including academic staff, senior leadership, and student representatives.
Student Voice and Inclusion
- Work to ensure that the student voice and lived experience are fully considered and embedded within project outcomes.
- Support consultation activities, workshops, or forums to gather student feedback.
Communication and Engagement
- Support the design and delivery of campaigns, events, and communications linked to the Wellbeing Strategy.
- Draft briefings, reports, and updates for internal and external audiences.
General
- Undertake any other duties as required by the Director of Wellbeing and Safeguarding to ensure the success of the project.
Skills and experience
- Is qualified to degree or equivalent level.
- Experience of leading and implementing project in HE.
- Experience of HE governance and improvement projects.
