Role

Unitemps are recruiting for multiple Careers Fair Ambassadors. This role is suitable for UCL Students or UCL Graduates Only. This is a part time role for specific dates listed below in October and November (shifts are 15:00 to 19:30) + mandatory training in September. Payment is set at £14.69 per hour + holiday pay.This role will be full UCL Campus based.
 

We need a team of UCL student event ambassadors who can help us to provide a professional welcome to our exhibitors and students, as well as carrying out a number of practical tasks to help set up the Fairs and clear the venues at the end of the evening. This may require some lifting of boxes and furniture, for which we will provide the relevant health and safety training.

Duties and responsibilities

Ambassador jobs at our Careers Fairs will be available in October & November (dates listed below) but you must attend a manual handling training to be eligible for these:

  • Management Consultancy, Wednesday 1st October 3–7.30pm
  • Banking & Finance, Wednesday 8th October 3–7.30pm
  • Banking, Finance & Economics, Wednesday 15th October 3–7.30pm
  • Tech, Data & AI Fair Wednesday 22nd October 3–7.30pm
  • Engineering & The Built Environment, Wednesday 29 October 3–7.30 pm
  • Law Fair, Wednesday 12 November 3–7.30 pm
If you’d like to work as an ambassador at these fairs date you must be available for one of the manual handling training sessions.
 
The training will be 2 and a half hours, paid and taking place on:
  • Tuesday 23rd September (9:30am – 12:00pm or 12:30 – 3:00pm) 
  • Thursday 25th September (9:30am – 12:00pm)

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role (UCL events/Student ambassador) desirable
  • Must be a current UCL student or a UCL Graduate
  • Must be available for listed one of the listed training dates
  • Must be available for listed working dates in October/November

Additional information
