Role

INTO’s mission:

Through innovative partnerships with leading universities we expand opportunities for higher education, ensuring success and transforming the lives of our students and staff. Across the world, there is increasing demand for top quality higher education, with more and more students demanding access to provision beyond their home country.

INTO partners with universities in three continents to address this global demand and help transform their international capacity and performance. Since 2006, we have successfully launched 21 partnerships with 19 universities in Europe, North America and Asia.

We have enrolled over 50,000 students from 166 countries and now have about 1600 employees, based round the world. Our website http://www.intoglobal.com/ has details of how we are organised and our outstanding achievements so far.

Duties and responsibilities

Successful applicants will be assigned to briefs for working on videos for social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Based on the brief provided, your responsibility will be to film and edit your video using the tools at your disposal (i.e. Smartphones, microphones, Canva, CapCut, etc).

You must be comfortable vlogging and speaking to the camera in public, as this will be a key part of the brief. Throughout the video project, you will work closely alongside a remote project manager from INTO’s central video team.

Your assigned project manager will be your main point of contact and support throughout your project; however, the role will require a high level of independent working and self-management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning – creating a shot list, choosing locations and writing a script if needed.
  • Filming – scheduling time to execute your production plan and do the actual filming using either a smartphone or digital camera.
  • Editing – cut your footage into a masterpiece using applications such as CapCut or Canva.
  • Feedback – your manager will provide feedback on the first draft of your video.
  • Delivery – exporting and uploading your final video following the guidance provided.

Skills and experience

  • A high degree of professionalism and engagement throughout each project.
  • The ability to follow a brief and meet agreed-upon deadlines, with flexibility for reasonable adjustments where needed.
  • Produce engaging and authentic video content that represents the diverse experiences of students studying abroad.
  • Approximately 6 hours spent on each video project (projects are capped at a maximum of 8 hours per project).
  • Effective and clear communication with your project manager.
