Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy.
We are a new company in the FM sector with over 50 years of experience managing property portfolios for clients. We specialise in aspects ranging from technical to operational, compliance, health and safety and more. Our vision is to provide a high-quality service to our clients improving the state of the market and growing to be known as the best provider of facilities management, business management software and consulting services globally.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Web Developer to work with on a temporary basis currently. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with the three directors and any future product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Duties and responsibilities
- Develop, and implement robust and scalable web applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end (user interface) and back-end (server-side logic, database interactions) components.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Develop and integrate APIs and other web services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
Skills and experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft office) and internet online reporting; skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
- Work varied and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including:HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptExperience with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel, Java/Spring Boot, C#/.NET). [Specify relevant technologies for your company]
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server; NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). [Specify relevant databases]
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with building and consuming APIs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred (but not required) Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai).Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to implement Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

Pay Rate: £14.00
Holiday Pay: £1.69
Working location: Remote working with the occasional need to meet in person at an agreed location for meetings or to collaboratively work alongside the directors or other contracted or employed personnel.
Remote working for some meetings over video calls and phone calls.
