Description

Role
Shortwood United FC is a football club playing in Hellenic Division 1. We require a Physio on match days to provide first aid and basic medical care to the players before, during and after the game.

Duties and responsibilities
The physio will be responsible for the physical well being of the players during the game. Duties will include injury assessment and treatment injury prevention strategies. They will also provide First Aid and make decisions about player continuation during matches.

Skills and experience
We are flexible with regard to experience as we recognise this may be the candidates first opportunity to put their skills to practical use. The qualifications would need to be equivalent to Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF).

Home Ground - Meadowbank, Nailsworth Away games- Various

Additional information
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 5th August

 
A tracksuit will be provided, but you will need to have studded boots.
For travel over 10 miles from GL6 0SJ. Travel expenses of 40p per mile will be paid.
As some players are under 18 a DBS will be needed. This will be completed by the company so there is no need for candidates to have one prior to application.
