Description

Role

To provide IT support across the Permali business. Capturing support tickets and either resolving issues or bringing them to the attention of the IT Support Technician or the IT Operations manager for resolution and training.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Primarily providing IT support for office/remote employees for computers, printers, emails, and various applications.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and document problems, liaising with end users and vendors as required.
  • Maintain and review department asset register, documentation, FAQs, procedures, and policies.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding including provisioning of user hardware and accounts.

Skills and experience

  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Have an understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, and Windows based operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent timekeeping skills with ability to work under broad direction and to manage/prioritise own workload.
  • Have a genuine passion for technology and helping people, with a desire to learn new skills and keep up to date with industry and technology developments, to promote a culture of continuous improvement to enhance IT capabilities.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve baseline personnel security standard. Many roles also require higher levels of security vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting required for the role to allow for meaningful security vetting.
 
A valid DBS will also be required before starting the role.
