Description
Role
We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer and Assembler to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels from start to finish, ensuring that all components are accurately installed and functioning correctly. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and technologies.
Temp to Perm
Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week (Tuesday-Thursday)
Duties and responsibilities
- Review and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics and diagrams required to complete tasks.
- Reading and confirming the parts list, interpret measurements and verify specifications.
- Determining availability of materials and tools.
- Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fixed correctly.
- Wiring components to Wiring schematics
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
- Performing preventive maintenance and reporting and resolving assembly line issues.
- Assist with Annual audits
- Participate in New and excising product training
- Very occasionally off-site fittings, assembly or maintenance work maybe required
- Maintain regular stock takes, book stock-in and pack out-going goods ready for collection
- Engrave labels and print terminal makers as required
- Keeping the workspace clean and organised.
- Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
- Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
Skills and experience
- Degree/NVQ/proven qualified experience (Essential)
- Proven experience in electrical/wiring assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, logic controllers, and surface mount technology is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
