We are looking to recruit an online Registration triage support administrator

The role is to support students who register for their course on line and act as triage across the university as required.

Working hours for this role are as follows:

Staff will be required to work 5 days a week, It will be a shift pattern as follows:

Monday – Friday (x1 day off a week)

08:00 – 16:00

OR

11am – 7pm

They will also be required to work either a Saturday (10am-4pm) or a Sunday (10am-4pm).

Duties and responsibilities

Act as first point of contact for all enquires

Provide support to students who raise issues regarding their online registration.

Reset log in passwords

Resolving query/issue resolution

Liaise with other colleagues across the university to support the student’s online registration.

Handle incoming calls.

Work in partnership with other departments

Work flexibly and react swiftly when priorities change

Work with attention to detail and adhere to tight time scales

Assisting in ensuring compliance with the university’s policies and procedures including data protection.

Have an excellent customer focused approach with the ability to build a rapport and work with other individuals. Good team player.

To perform additional duties with the job grade as reasonably required from time to time.

Promote the existing customer services we have to offer within our service.

Treat all staff, students, contractors and visitors with dignity and respect. Provide a service that complies with the Equality Act 2010, eliminating unlawful discrimination, advancing equality of opportunity and fostering good relations with particular attention to the protected characteristics as and when required.

Skills and experience

Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office, word, outlook, Excel and other databases.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Good time keeping

Flexible and able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and willingness approach to their work with the interest to learn new skills.

Have an excellent customer focused approach with the ability to build a rapport and work with other across the university as well as the team.  Good team player.
