Description

Role
The Life Sciences Technical team are delighted to announce an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic student to engage in a two-week paid internship to work on the Accessible Specialist Spaces Initiative.

Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct significant research and data collection from existing literature, staff and student voices, sector-wide practices, and a survey of our current facilities, ultimately synthesising a comprehensive and concise report to highlight areas of shortcoming and improvement regarding accessibility in the Verena Holmes laboratories.

Skills and experience
This role would suit current undergraduate and postgraduate students who possess a good understanding of concepts relating to accessibility and inclusivity which they will use to undertake a review of the laboratories in the Verena Holmes building. Independence and commitment to quality work is essential as this project has a strict timeline.

Location
Canterbury
