Role
The History Department at LJMU would like to create a distinctive brand that showcases its identity and allows for consistency of design across its public platforms.

We are looking for someone to work approximately 12 hours during early- to mid-July
Duties and responsibilities
The postholder will be responsible for creating branding (including a distinctive brand logo and associated templates) for the LJMU History department.
The outputs will be produced in a suitable way to enable use over a range of digital media, including websites, Social Media (Tik Tok, Instagram, BlueSky), PowerPoint presentations, posters, and general advertising.
The postholder should demonstrate an understanding of recent developments in institutional branding and marketing, as well as insight into the mission of the History Department.
The candidate would be expected to pitch a range of ideas to the Department and to make adjustments based on feedback.
Skills and experience
Candidates will need to have the following skills:
- The ability to fulfil a set brief- The ability to work independently and to take initiative- Creativity and excellent design skills- Advanced graphic design skills- Experience of working with professional partners- An understanding of institutional branding guidelines and the ethos of the department. - Oral presentation skills
