Role
Unitemps are looking for students who would like to be involved in the transition days as Disability Inclusion Service (DIS) Transition Events - Student Guide on behalf of the Student Experience & Support Department,

 
Please ensure you read the information below and apply accordingly.

Duties and responsibilities
DIS will be hosting two Transition Days for the upcoming September 2025 intake of students who have declared a disability, medical condition, or neurodiversity. We would like current students or recent graduates from the University to support staffing on the events. 

 
This would include; 
• Directing students to our sign in desk in the morning. 
• Attending the morning sessions with the students and getting involved in any activities. 
• Attending and supporting the School's afternoon activities. 
• Directing any students who have further questions back to DIS for a final drop in. 
• Just generally chatting with people, sharing your experience as a student if they ask you any questions. 
• The day has a focus on support, so having a base knowledge of the various support the university offers to direct the students to is desirable.

Skills and experience
This is your opportunity to help new students find their feet and ease any concerns they may have and answer any questions they may have as you have been there and understand,

19th August - 9:30am-3:30pm - H&S students x2 - Allerton/Mary Seacole chapman 
20th August - 9:30am-3:30pm - SBS students x2, SEE students x2, SAMCT students x2 - Chapman 
 
Lunch will be provided and a short briefing/questions with Cath from DIS
