Description

Role

We are seeking current students to join our team, in an exciting opportunity to work within the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) . Within IATL, we broadly understand co-creation . to mean staff and students collaborating to create spaces in which community, creativity, and cultures of care can thrive. You will actively shape and support the work of the department from a student perspective. We will provide full training and support to those appointed to the role.

Since this role is focused on the 2025/26 academic year, this opportunity is for current students who will also be enrolled in the 2025/26 academic year.

As a Co-Creation Officer you will support and advise the team to help develop the work of the department. You will contribute to building community with students and colleagues, and promote our work by highlighting IATL and its activities through social media and at module fairs and other events. You will also contribute to our range of interdisciplinary activities including our Project Support funding scheme, our support for student research and our portfolio of interdisciplinary modules, and/or other areas depending upon your experience and interests. Through your collaboration with students and staff, you will make a positive difference to teaching, learning and the wider Warwick community.

We anticipate that one Co-Creation Officer role will focus on using social media along with other forms of communication and marketing to promote IATL’s work. If you are interested in the role with a social media focus, please indicate this in your cover letter and highlight the experience you have with the two main platforms IATL uses – Instagram and LinkedIn.

We recognise the enormous value of diversity in our work and workplace. We work in a community rooted in respect and kindness. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all communities regardless of culture, background, age, disability, sex/gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion/belief, or sexual or romantic orientation.

The role is for up to one day a week (or equivalent) in the 2025/26 academic year, with candidates starting in early September 2025 if possible. The role is until June 2026 (end of summer term), with the possibility of extending into the 2026/27 academic year. This role has flexibility so that it can fit around your academic work, and we understand that there will be times where your studies take priority.  We will also work with candidates to accommodate other commitments, such as care responsibilities and commuting, as much as possible.

To apply, please submit your CV and either a one-page covering letter or a link to a video (max 3 mins) by end of Wednesday 16 July 2025, addressing why you are applying for the role and what excites you about cocreation. Student Opportunity can provide support with developing application materials if you would like this; see Student Careers .

If you are interested in the role with a social media focus, please indicate this clearly in your cover letter.
