Role

A Research assistant is required to assist with a literature review for a project entitled 'Seeking Language through Refuge: Using ESOL to develop language understanding for the Criminal Justice System'. This project works to present migrants with effective language support over ten sessions around areas where they may need to access criminal justice support. This literature review will help the project team to assess and analyse the intervention. 

Duties and responsibilities
To read, analyse, search for relevant academic articles, books, and other scholarly materials.To summarise findings from the various sources and provide existing knowledge on the topic. To identify gaps in the literature and find where the research is lacking.Assist with data collection via interviews and analysing the data

Strong research skills

Critical thinking
Writing and communication skills 
Time management
Organisational skills 
Preferable experience of developing literature reviews
Interviewing skills are desirable, but not essential. 

Location
Home based role.
