Role

Unitemps are recruiting for a Data Entry (Clinical Trials) within the Institute of Neurology department. The role is to work ASAP and will run until 13th December 2025 full time at 37.5 hours per week . Payment is set at £18.43+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be CAMPUS based.

The role will be based at the UCL Dementia Research Centre (DRC), part of the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and embedded within the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), an internationally renowned hospital for clinical practice and world-class clinical research in neurosciences. The DRC is closely integrated with the NHS Cognitive Disorders Service run at the NHNN and so well positioned to link clinical practice with research.
 
The DRC is recognised as one of foremost international centres for the study of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. It is highly involved in translational research and is world renowned for expertise in early phase clinical trials investigating the safety and efficacy of potential disease modifying therapies in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Perform data entry into Case Report Forms (CRFs) from source data and medical records.
  • Ensure timely resolution of data queries
  • Work closely and communicate with the multidisciplinary trials team (e.g. research nurses, clinical fellows, coordinators, raters)

Skills and experience

  • Science related degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of database management
  • An awareness of Good Clinical Practice
  • IT proficiency at advanced user level in excel, word, email and web based applications
  • Meticulous and accurate approach to work with attention to detail
  • Appreciate the importance of concise and accurate communication

Institute of Neurology will help the successful candidate apply for an honorary NHS contract with UCLH
