International Student Advice Team Assistant

Please Note:

  • Please note that this role is NOT suitable for current students
  • The candidates should be flexible regarding the working arrangement. This role is hybrid - so working from home and coming to the office on specific dates (on weekly basis). 
  • Candidates should use their own computer/laptop when working from home.
  • Online Interview but date TBC

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Checking financial documents for international students making sure they are meeting the Home Office requirements. This will be the main task. 

  • Supporting staff and international students with some basic visa and immigration queries via emails and phone calls.- 

  • Answering telephone calls during the office core hours; answering basic queries and triaging the calls to the relevant team members

  • Any other duties as advised by the Team members and the Team's Manager

Skills and experience

  • The candidates should have excellent IT skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. 
  • Experience in using databases and records systems. Ability to communicate effectively in person (if required), in writing and email, and by telephone with a diverse range of people. 
  • A commitment to excellent service delivery. 
  • High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail is extremely important for this role.

Location
This role is hybrid - so working from home and coming to the office on specific dates (on weekly basis).
