Role
University College Birmingham is looking to recruit an accomodation assistant to join their friendly and enthusiastic team during the summer period.

Duties and responsibilities
•    Essential maintenance, including tripped electrics, changing lightbulbs, and preventing leaks/ floods.

•    Carrying out kitchen inspection in occupied flats
•    Answering phone calls and dealing with student queries in a professional manner
•    Essential office admin work includes visitor passes, signing in parcels and completing lock up.
•    Kitting of rooms and set up to a standard as shown by management
•    Provide tours of the site when necessary to staff, students, and guests
•    Physical lifting of boxes and moving mattresses across the site
•    Essential cleaning works to assist our cleaning team, including removing perishable items from kitchens & rubbish
•    Handling of master keys and student's room keys 
•    Maintaining The Maltings site with daily site patrols- reporting any problems to management
•    Physical checks, including keys, maintenance, cleaning, and set up of rooms 
•    Any other duties commensurate to the nature and Grade of the post

Skills and experience
All training will be provided on sight however, strong communication skills will be great.
