Description
Role
We are looking for a motivated intern to support the procurement team in a hands-on project focused on updating and consolidating key supplier and spend data. The role will offer direct exposure to building key strategic procurement processes and supply chain risk management in a newly established function
Duties and responsibilities
- Update and maintain the approved suppliers list database.
- Gather and validate critical supplier information including: MOQ's (Minimum order quantities) Lead times, contact details, country of origin.
- Assist in initial supplier risk profiling (e.g. supplier turnover, % of spend risk analysis)
- Audit procurement files and identify missing compliance documentation for upload
- Collect, collate and verify ESG data from suppliers (Environmental, Social, Governance)
- Work collaboratively with procurement and operations teams to ensure data accuracy
- Participate in ad-hoc procurement improvement projects as needed
Skills and experience
- Studying or completed a relevant degree (e.g. Business, Procurement, Logistics)
- Highly organised, methodical and detail orientated
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Professional attitude and the ability to liaise with suppliers when needed
- Keen interest in Procurement, supply chain processes, and ESG
Location
Permali Office/ Potentially Hybrid
Additional information
All applicants must as a minimum achieve baseline personnel security standard. Many roles also require higher levels of security vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting required for the role to allow for meaningful security vetting cheques.
Interviews will be held on Monday 7th July between 9:30-2pm. The interview will take 30 minutes.
The dress code will be smart casual as well as the uniform being provided.
