Description
Role
Planning, producing and editing a range of content to enhance Warwick Sport social media platforms. Content types will include short-form video, photography, facilitating takeovers, interviews and on-the-ground coverage.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with Active Wellbeing team to identify content opportunities.
- Create and populate content calendars including content around Rock Up and Play sessions, Active Leagues, Wellbeing events and Courses.
- Organise and facilitate social media takeovers, on the ground coverage, and short-form videos, ensuring appropriate consent has been captured and filed securely.
- Edit final content and share with the Digital Engagement team for amends/approval.
- Post or schedule content using social media management tool.
- Comply with all University and Warwick Sport Brand Guidelines.
Skills and experience
- Experience of social media content creation.
- Experience of video production and editing.
- Understanding of social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, including video functionality.
- Understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) procedures when capturing content for social media.
- Current Warwick student.
