Role

This temporary, short-term role (16hrs in total over a max 4-week period) will be responsible for the co-design and creation of engaging online content to support student learning. Responding to feedback from a student focus group, along with their own insights, the role is specifically focused on the development and improvement of a Moodle course “AI and Academic Integrity”. The course will be a key element of the student support offer for 2025/26, and the student co-creator role is central to it being able to meet student need and to be meaningful and accessible to a student audience.

Duties and responsibilities

Working with a small project team of academic and professional services staff:

  • to review the AI and Academic Integrity Moodle course
  • to review feedback on the AI and Academic Integrity Moodle course from student focus group and other sources.
  • To contribute to redesign and update to course content and structure
  • To design and create digital content and learning objects to be embedded within the course, as agreed by the project team. These could include interactive online content, video and or other visual content

Skills and experience

  • Currently registered University of Warwick student (UG, PGT or PGR)
  • Broad understanding of AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools and their use in learning/study
  • Broad understanding of the principles of academic integrity and their importance for the university
  • Good level of digital literacy – including the ability to create video and other online content
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex topics with clarity and in an engaging manner
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for developing students’ experience, confidence, and academic literacy.

Location
Hybrid – some work on campus may be required – such as attending focus groups or meetings
