Role

You could join our team of Student Content Creators. 

This is more than a part-time job – it’s a chance to gain real-world experience in marketing and communications. You will grow your creative skills. Make your voice heard. 

You’ll help shape how the University of Staffordshire is seen by the world. You’ll be a part of a kind, inclusive, and supportive team that values your unique perspective.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create and share vibrant, engaging content – from TikToks and Reels to YouTube videos and podcasts – that brings university life, well, to life.
  • Be part of campaigns that support students at every stage of their journey. 
  • Capture the energy of campus life – events, experiences, hidden gems.
  • Represent the university at key events and open days, helping future students feel excited, informed, and welcome.
  • Stay curious and creative, adapting content to match trends, your own ideas, and what audiences love.

Skills and experience

  • A passion for storytelling and a desire to share your student experience with confidence and honesty.  
  • Students from a variety of pathways, courses and backgrounds – we want our team to truly represent our student body 
  • A strong and positive presence on social media.  
  • Confidence in front of the camera and some basic editing skills (don’t worry – we’ll support your development).
  • An interest in marketing, content creation, or communications
  • A portfolio, social account, or some examples of your work – if you have them, we’d love to see them.
