Role
Our Client delivers innovative engineering solutions sustainably and efficiently. From designing to developing high voltage, complex infrastructure to servicing professional power system studies, our variety of services and capabilities ensures our clients projects are delivered through experience and expert knowledge. Their current requirement is for a graduate engineer to progress to tendering engineer and eventually tendering manager leading a team of estimators.

Duties and responsibilities
We require a dedicated person with the ability to learn about our industry and become a key part of our tendering team, able to work on own initiative or part of team.

 
You will be required to work from the office to begin with and learn from the people around you. Being punctual, organised and a good communicator are essential to this role. You will be provided with PPE when going on site and will be required to wear smart casual clothes when meeting client face to face or over Teams.

Skills and experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret complex information.
  • IT skills including advanced understanding of MS Excel, word, power point and SharePoint.
  • Be punctual and organised • Posses a clean driving license.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Shall commit to career development programme and additional job-related training

Location
Office based (Newcastle Under Lyme) but will become hybrid over time
