Role
Our client has been trading for over 30 years and since that time have grown into a small team of consultants working nationwide, Ireland and occasionally overseas in the implementation of International & British Standards and industry specific schemes. They are now on the hunt for a Graduate Consultant to join their team.

 
The standards are predominantly ISO standards covering areas such as Quality, Environmental/Energy management, Health & Safety, and Information Security/Privacy Management. The information security consultants are also GDPR specialists and can help with any issues you may have regarding the processing of personal data. Their main area of expertise is the food industry

Duties and responsibilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out projects from initiation to completion within the parameters of instructions given.
  • Must be willing to travel as required on a project-by-project basis, this point is critical.
  • Confident to liaise with clients and leave tasks to be completed.
  • Organised – successful candidate once passing the probation will be responsible for managing their own diary and allocated projects and ensuring time frames are met.

Skills and experience

  • Graduate from a business-related degree – 2.1 or above grade.
  • Must be able to drive.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance to client sites.
  • Strong Spreadsheet Development.
  • Awareness of environmental and sustainable issues.
  • Previous experience in consulting or auditing.
