Disability and Neurodiversity (D&N) provides support and resources to empower and advocate for disabled and neurodiverse students to fulfil their potential. We are looking to appoint a part-time Administrator to work in person at our Stag Hill Campus.
This role is not open to current students or graduates from the University of Surrey due to confidentiality.
We can offer some flexibility in terms of working patterns, but they must include Tuesdays and Fridays. The post involves invoicing and using AGRESSO (a financial management system), as well as general administrative tasks in a busy office. These may include being the first point of contact for students and external enquiries, directly interacting with students or responding to telephone or email enquiries.
To start as soon as possible until the 31st of July 2025.
£15.59 per hour.
£1.88 per hour holiday pay.
18 hours per week -flexible, must include Tuesdays & Fridays.

Duties and responsibilities
1. Process and track D&N financial transactions including purchase requisitions and invoices in a timely manner.
2. In collaboration with the other D&N administrators, provide administrative support for the work we do to support disabled students.
3. Provide effective and empathetic customer service for D&N, acting as the first point of contact for students.
Skills and experience
Desirable
Experience of business financial processes such as raising purchase orders, invoicing, and familiarity AGRESSO and Microsoft Excel. Experience of working with disabled students in an educational setting.
Essential
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including database entry, written communications and financial processing.
Excellent keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, internet and database entry.
Experience of keeping financial records.
Excellent verbal communication skills when handling telephone calls.
Ability to multi-task and plan workload efficiently.
Experience of resolving issues/queries independently and providing advice on routine matters
Sensitivity to, and awareness of, issues relating to disability and dealing appropriately with students’ personal confidential data.
