Role
AIRDAT are seeking a part-time assistant for a two-month period (June-July 2025) to support our social media marketing efforts and provide assistance with the "Run the Runways" online charity event for which they are sole sponsor/event partner. This event supports Aviation Action, a mental health and support charity in the aviation industry. The role involves promoting the event, generating sign-ups and donations, and enhancing AIRDAT’s involvement and brand awareness. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media posts (short and long form) across various platforms using AI assistance and scheduling tools like Buffer
  • Develop blog-style or long-form content pieces
  • Manage and update a collaborative content calendar
  • Coordinate with design and sales teams to align visual and written content
  • Draft email campaigns for sign-ups, donations, and follow-ups
  • Potentially prepare and distribute event packs to participating airports
  • Monitor and engage with social media audiences
  • Track donation and sign-up progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Prepare a post-campaign report summarising content performance and recommendations.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams (marketing, sales, design).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Must be a current CCCU student or graduate.
