Description

Role

To provide logistical and administrative support for the Student Recruitment Agents Team, supporting the University’s agent network.  To act as a first point of contact for prospective students and other stakeholders providing a high standard of customer service.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To help create content for newsletters, including sourcing relevant news articles from across the University’s website.
  • To respond to enquirer emails from prospective students and other stakeholders
  • To respond to emails from across the agent network, maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • To contribute to the administration of conference planning, including responding to enquiries, record keeping and liaising with key departments and external companies
  • To assist with due diligence on current applications
  • To contribute to the administration of scholarships competitions.
  • To undertake other related duties as required.

Skills and experience

  • Good general education with GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service
  • Experience of prioritisation of resources and tasks to best affect
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and on individual tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Good geographical and cultural awareness, or an interest in learning the location and culture of key markets for recruitment activity
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail within a complex workload
  • Experience of monitoring costs
  • Excellent IT skills and an up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, along with email and Internet experience.
