Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work for our prestigious client who are looking for a proactive and conscientious Junior Warehouse Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a warehouse environment. No previous experience is required – we’ll provide full training and ongoing support

There is potential for a permanent full-time position at the end of the contract, depending on performance.

Duties and responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving goods in, checking deliveries, and restocking shelves
• Cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and organised working environment
• Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
• Supporting the team with general warehouse tasks as needed

Skills and experience

• A reliable and enthusiastic team player
• Someone with a positive attitude who’s willing to learn and get stuck in
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Good attention to detail and a conscientious approach to work
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
