Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work for our prestigious client based in Stafford. They are looking for a Mortgage Services Administrator to join their growing team.
Working hours and days are Monday - Friday. 37.5 hours per week.
The position does offer hybrid work, with office-presence in Stafford at least 3 days a week.

Duties and responsibilities
- To support the Mortgage Department by completing mortgage administration with a high level of accuracy, adhering to quality assurance and operational processes.
- You will support the delivery of an excellent customer journey through providing a personal, efficient service whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify documents to support the underwriting of a case and requesting outstanding information, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. This includes monitoring the Mutual inbox and Broker account and responding to enquiries raised from members, brokers or solicitors
- Monitor the level of mortgage redemptions, producing and issuing statements when requests are made
- Liaise with customers, and brokers – providing updates when required and chasing any outstanding documentation or information
- Monitor the Society’s Interest Only profile, making contact with members in-line with required timeframes
- To complete product transfer/switch administration for existing Mortgages – including retention switches, Self-Build switches, and SVR maturities on residential and BTL. This includes issuing relevant documentation, chasing responses, and actioning the product transfer on the system. Additionally, changes to term and/or repayment type are to be actioned when required.
- Operationally manage all aspects of deeds activities, including chasing deeds on completions, logging deeds out and releasing of packet. You will also be responsible for Society sealing and the discharge or part release of security
- Complete all administration on Arrears & Forbearance cases at the Society, ensuring that all customer contact is professional and empathetic.
- Confident and able to communicate with a wide range of key stakeholders including solicitors, valuers and estate agents
- Answer incoming calls on a daily basis, taking personal responsibility to answer enquiries in a positive and efficient manner
- Contribute and support the ongoing development of Society procedures and processes
- Administer all Direct Debit changes on existing mortgage accounts, ensuring no customer or Society detriment when making required amendments
- Complete all other administrative requirements when dealing with existing mortgages, examples include, producing tax statements, duplicate mortgage statements, changes of name or correspondence address, registering Power of Attorneys, and death registrations.
