Role We are looking for a motivated Law Student Intern to join our Human Resources (HR) team for a short-term project focused on updating company policies and procedures. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience incorporate compliance, employment law, and policy development within a professional HR setting.

 

Duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze current company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with best practices
.Conduct research on employment laws, industry regulations, and HR trends to inform policy updates.
Draft, revise, and standardize HR policies and procedures in collaboration with HR leadership.
Assist in ensuring policies align with labor laws, health and safety regulations, diversity and inclusion standards, and company objectives.
Prepare reports and documentation summarizing proposed changes and recommendations.
Support communication and implementation efforts, including creating training materials or employee guidance documents.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled in accordance with company policies.

Skills and experience
Requirements:

 
Currently pursuing a Law Degree (LLB or equivalent) with an interest in employment law, corporate compliance, or HR policies.
Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively within a set timeline.
 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
 
Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality requirements.
