Role

Did you join the University of Leicester through Clearing? Would you like to help future students by sharing your experience?

We’re looking for current University of Leicester students to share their experience of securing a university place through Clearing, helping us bring the Clearing journey — and what it’s really like to study at the University — to life through engaging and authentic content.

When you’ll be needed:

•    This is an ad hoc role running between June and August, during the peak Clearing period.

•    You won’t need to be based in Leicester all the time, but you will be required to attend some activities in person, so some availability on campus is essential.

•    We’ll coordinate schedules in advance based on your availability and the campaign needs.

Duties and responsibilities
What’s involved:

•    Sharing your Clearing experience and student life through a mix of short videos, written blogs and photographs.
•    Taking part in trending content on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
•    Q&A sessions or Instagram takeovers to speak directly with prospective students.
•    There may also be opportunities to work with the media or press.

Skills and experience

What we’re looking for:

•    Current University of Leicester students who joined through Clearing.

•    Confident communicators who are comfortable sharing their story on camera and in writing.

•    Reliable, positive individuals who want to support and reassure future students.

Please note:

•    You don’t need to have professional content creation experience.

•    You won’t be expected to create all the content yourself - we can help with filming, editing and planning.

•    You’ll be supported by the University’s Recruitment Marketing Team throughout.
