Role
**********The below role is only open to Middlesex University Students***********
Duties and responsibilities
- Apply for up to three Small (£500-2500) - Medium (£2500-20000) sized grants from Trusts and Foundations on behalf of CF, working with and learning from our Fundraiser, Project Managers and/or CEO
- Review and improve our data systems e.g. input and transfer records from our Sage database to our newer Salesforce and/or UpShot programs
- Assist our staff in classes plus the Summer CF Summer arts exhibitions at ArtsDepot building, installing/removing framed artwork.
- Improve CF’s ARTiculate online shop, plus ARTiculate/Short Breaks social media accounts followers through marketing, liaising with our project managers
Skills and experience
Essential
- Interest in the arts, disability themes, third sector, data management and enthusiastic to learn more about these areas
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel packages
- Comfortable working in a self-directed way as well as part of the team
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service certificate, or CF can provide one prior to internship
Desirable
- Studying in a relevant area such as arts, business, marketing, digital marketing or communications
- Experience with Ai tools such as minute taking, blog posts, social media or web design
- Safeguarding, duty of care, awareness of SEN needs. CF can provide some training if needed.

This internship can lead to paid work either with CF as a classroom/project assistant and other paid positions plus potential opportunities through other partner organisations. CF provides termly weekday classes, plus projects on weekends and holiday periods so we are frequently looking for new creative energy to assist, teach or manage a variety of arts activities. - You will be supported by various staff members to produce strategic communications and content, which will provide you with strong insight into different roles and aspects of funds, marketing, communications and content. There is an option to specialise if CF feels your strengths are suited to a particular role in the last four weeks of the internship.
- No need to have extensive experience with any of the skills mentioned above, our successful applicant is someone who wants to learn and is enthusiastic.
