Role
**********The below role is only open to Middlesex University Students***********
Duties and responsibilities
- To work collaboratively to develop a volunteer research initiative that includes the planning and application of investigations, as well as ongoing management and analysis of research findings.
- To provide academic support and guidance customised to research methods, including assisting with developing research questions, conducting evaluations, preparing reports and finalising the research paper.
- To work in collaboration with Live Unlimited and Groundworks on this project.
Skills and experience
- A student in the field of Human and Social Sciences (desirable)
- Proficiency in writing academic materials including, questions, evaluations, and reports (essential)
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, including statistical analysis (essential)
- Ability to think critically and solve problems (essential)
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills (essential)
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities (desirable)
- Exceptional organisational and time management (essential)
- Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with care experience (desirable)
- Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures (desirable)
- Familiarity with Data Protection legislation (essential)
- A DBS certificate (desirable)

Hybrid (with in-person meeting at 2 Bristol Avenue, London NW9 4EW)
