This internship is a fantastic opportunity for a student looking to develop practical marketing and content creation skills while working on real campaigns at Hallmark Engineering Group, EES Solutions, and Hadfield Services. The intern will gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content writing, digital advertising, SEO, email campaigns, and webinar organisation. They will learn how to manage projects using Asana, how to analyse performance metrics, create engaging visuals with Canva, and explore video editing tools to enhance brand storytelling. We are looking for someone creative, organised, and eager to learn about how marketing works in an engineering group of companies. This role offers structured mentorship, regular check-ins, and a final portfolio project to showcase the intern’s contributions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Create content for LinkedIn, blogs, and social media campaigns to drive brand visibility.
- Assist in planning and launching a LinkedIn ad campaign.
- Write and schedule an email marketing campaign and track performance.
- Support website updates and SEO optimisation to improve visibility.
- Help organise and promote a webinar via Eventbrite.
- Review marketing analytics and campaign performance to refine strategy.
- Work with Asana, Canva, and video editing tools to develop creative content.
- Contribute to corporate branding and employer branding projects.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Interest in social media, digital marketing, and branding.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate remotely.
Desirable
- Studying in a relevant area such as marketing, digital marketing, branding or marketing communications
- Experience with copywriting such as blog, social media or web
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Basic experience with Canva, video editing, or email marketing tools.
