You’ll work closely with a highly experienced team whose collective background spans marketing, e-commerce, PR, communications, analytics, SEO, PPC, CRM, and beyond. Duties and responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Investigate competitors’ online marketing strategies, including content, social media presence, and SEO approach.
- Produce a short report highlighting findings and actionable insights.
- Digital Campaign Assistance
- Assist with planning, creating, and managing marketing campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, social media, and email marketing.
- Monitor performance metrics using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Ads).Email Automation & Retention• Help build an automated welcome/retention email series.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline user journeys and improve user engagement.
- Segmentation & Paid Campaign Management
- Support the development of detailed segmentation strategies for email and paid advertising audiences.• Work with the marketing team to optimise budget spend and targeting on paid channels.
- Content Creation & Optimisation• Draft and optimise content for landing pages, ads, and social posts.
- Suggest SEO improvements to help boost our online visibility.
- Weekly Check-Ins & Flexibility
- Participate in weekly briefings, share progress, and highlight any new ideas or challenges.
- Work 10 hours per week, with flexibility to schedule around your studies
Skills and experience
Essential
- Strong interest in digital marketing and willingness to learn.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Able to work independently yet collaborate effectively with the wider team.
- Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to experiment with new ideas. Desirable (but not essential)
- Studying a relevant area (e.g., Marketing, Digital Marketing, Branding, Marketing Communications).
- Some experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) or copywriting (e.g., blogs, web copy).
- Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, or social media ad platforms.
