Role

The marketing department at our illustrious client has largely developed over the last 3 years and they are now looking for two Marketing Assistants to help elevate them to the next level during their busiest period. They are seeking fun, motivated, creative individuals, who can really bring their personality into this role.

They are recruiting for two Marketing Assistants, one of whom will have more of a content creation focus, whilst the other will focus of Marketing Administration and Branding.

Our client is one of Staffordshire and Cheshire’s leading providers of kids’ holiday camps and facilitators of physical activity, PE and sport in schools.

With over 7,500 children and families a week benefiting from their services, they are excited to grow the business – and as they do,  continue to provide the same outstanding services, which are integral to the health and wellbeing of schools and communities in Staffordshire and Cheshire.

Duties and responsibilities

Both successful candidates will be expected to undertake the below duties, with support and assistance from the Marketing Manager:

  • General Marketing administrative tasks – proof reading, copy writing, writing/sending emails etc.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns in a timely manner
  • Create assets for social media, email and website
  • Content creation – photography and filming
  • Perform market and client research
  • Provide support to marketing department and support and contribute to the Marketing strategy as a whole
  • Liaising with external agencies – designers, printers, schools, PE leads etc.
  • Maintain brand integrity and awareness
  • Organise and manage marketing materials
  • Attend relevant events

Skills and experience

 
Candidates seeking to apply must have the following:
  • Minimum grade 4 in English and Maths GCSE
  • An interest in Marketing/Content Creation
  • A good understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc)
  • Experience of using Canva, CapCut and Hootsuite (training will be provided, however experience using these will be very beneficial)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail – this is crucial for proof reading and brand integrity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and deadlines
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
  • A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • A positive attitude and a flexible approach
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Would hold a clean DBS
