Role
Unitemps are looking for Events staff to work for one of our clients at the Badminton Horse Trials on the 8th-10th May. You will be selling radio equipment to visitors the event. Due to the equipment that you will be carrying, you must be able to carry a large backpack for a prolonged period of time.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BIRMINGHAM STEAMHOUSE IS THE UNITEMPS BRANCH DEALING WITH THIS ROLE AND ALL ENQUIRIES SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THEM.

Duties and responsibilities
•    Candidates will be required to retail earpiece commentary radios to members of the public as they enter the show and around the event.

•    Carrying of equipment will be required which is a large backpack and sign.
•    Candidates will preferably have an interest in horses, although this is not essential.

Skills and experience
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will be expected to approach customers and upsell the product to them.
We are looking for someone who has an excellent level of customer care and great communication skills are essential.

Additional information

We are looking for 5 staff to work on Thursday 8th, Friday 9th & Saturday 10th May from 08:15-13:30.

You should be able to get to the location for the times shown. If you are available for all 3 days, this is preferable. However we will consider applications that are only available for 1 or 2 days. 

Please make this clear on your application which shifts you are applying for.

If you are able to car share to the event that would be preferable due to parking restrictions.
