Working with LCCs Wellbeing Lead and Health Intervention officer to develop and deliver the Health Intervention Scheme (HIS)to LCC colleagues via Physical Activity programmes. The UNITEMPs will be required to be flexible about working arrangements/times to support the requirements of colleagues accessing the HIS.

Duties and responsibilities
• Deliver Health Intervention Scheme (HIS) Physical Activity (PA) sessions to LCC staff. 

• Delivery will involve one to one, group and overviewing independent PA in a wellbeing suite 
• Develop the City Council’s commitment to equal opportunities and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.

Skills and experience
Assessment methods used: I = Interview, P = Presentation, A = Application, E = Exercise, T = Test, AC = Assessment Centre Qualification and training.

 
Essential
•Sport Coaching qualification and or Level 2 or 3 in Gym Instructor = A
 
Desirable 
• First Aid training = A
• ICT skills including, Microsoft word, excel and outlook. = A
 
ExperienceEssential
• Relevant academic evidence of Interest/experience in the success in the potential application of delivery of health and wellbeing programmes in compliance with industry best practise and the legislative framework. = A 
• Relevant academic evidence or Interest/experience in the potential application to health delivery with internal and stakeholders. =A and I 
• Relevant academic evidence of Interest/experience in competence in compiling information relevant to key performance indicators, health outcome measurements and customer feedback. = A and I
• Knowledge and application of inclusive PA training practices = A and I 
 
Desirable
• Relevant academic evidence of Interest/experience in applying safeguarding processes to customer health and personal information. = I 
 
Skills/Abilities Essential
• Adaptive PA sessions that best suite individuals and groups session wellbeing needs = A and I
• Good communication skills = A and I 
 
Desirable
•Innovative and creative contributions to delivering the HIS delivery =I
