Role
Supporting students who do not have English as a first language in development of their writing skills. The students will all be based in WMG.
Duties and responsibilities
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable paid work experience acting as a Peer Writing Mentor in WMG, University of Warwick. This important role will involve you helping other students reach their potential whilst providing you with high level transferable communication and teaching skills. This is a unique and new role. We are looking for up to 12 undergraduate or postgraduate students who have high levels of written and spoken English. Full training will be given in what promises to be a rewarding and interesting role.
Skills and experience
- Possession of or studying for a degree or masters degree
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Native level of spoken English
