Role
The Regional Engagement Team is seeking University of Warwick students to provide support to young people attending Warwickshire Youth Conference on 25th April 2025. Student ambassadors will help to guide young people (aged 11-18) between the main venue in the Slate and breakout spaces, support registration and help ensure young people have a positive experience.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be expected to support the successful delivery of a the Warwickshire Youth Conference. This will include:

  • Supporting registration of conference attendees
  • Helping young people to navigate the venues
  • Supporting young people to engage with conference sessions where appropriate
  • Answering questions about student life if asked

Skills and experience

Essential:
Good  communication skills – presentation skills
The ability to communicate with a younger audience
The ability to use initiative and work well in a group
Be a current student at the University of Warwick
Reliable, mature approach
 
Desirable:
An awareness of issues relating to progression to higher education
 

Location
On campus and travelling from campus to schools in Coventry and Warwickshire
